Coming off a state tournament performance, where she stepped in and played a massive role that led to a Tosa East State Title, Kalumbula could have a breakout spring and summer. The 5’9 wing has proven she can make shots on the biggest stage in high school basketball, has the athleticism to be a solid perimeter defender, and has the defensive versatility to switch onto forwards. She’s worth taking a look at if coaches have the time.

I liked Kalumbula’s athleticism when I first saw her play in a JV game a few years ago. The tools are there for her to be a player who can swing games on the defensive end, and it always has been. However, I’ve liked how she’s developed on the offensive end of the floor. The 5’9 wing looks comfortable operating on the perimeter, and her shot has come a long way since I first saw her play. I’m unsure where her ceiling is, but she’s talented enough to play at the next level.
