About Macall

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with speed and energy, pushing the pace, attacking when opportunities are there, and creating plays for both myself and my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m very competitive and bring a high level of energy every time I step on the court. I take pride in my work ethic off the court, and I truly value every opportunity I have to play the game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m a 4.0 (unweighted) student and also play high-level club soccer, where I serve as a team captain on one of the top teams in the state. Balancing academics and multiple sports has helped me develop strong leadership, discipline, and time management skills.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership, teamwork, and strong character—built through sports, faith, and community service, with a focus on hard work, respect, and doing things the right way.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I was diagnosed with celiac disease at the end of 8th grade and lost 30 pounds over six months. It was a challenging time physically and mentally, but it changed my perspective in a positive way. I’ve become more grateful, more disciplined, and more aware of how I take care of my body. It also changed my game—I’m now lighter, faster, and more balanced while playing with the same aggressiveness.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with strong academics where I can be challenged in the classroom and continue to grow as a student-athlete. I’m especially interested in Division II, III, or NAIA programs that value player development, team culture, and balance. Schools like Hope College and Saint Mary’s are great examples of the kind of environment I’m looking for.
