A Missouri Southern State commit, Matthews was a key component of Coweta’s run to the Class 5A semifinals. Her combination of height and shooting makes her a valuable and versatile floor spacing weapon. She has a willingness to battle down low to help as a rebounder or even take a charge. But the lefty is at her best when spot up from three, with her textbook shooting form. Complete with range that extends a few feet beyond the high school three point line. With the Tigers returning much of their production from last year, expect Matthews to be at the forefront of another 5A State tournament push for the northeastern Oklahoma squad.
