Maci is coming off a big junior season, averaging 13.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game while leading South Laurel to a 26–7 record. The Lady Cardinals win the 50th District and advanced to the 13th Region Championship game for the second year in a row. A strong-framed wing with a very well-rounded game, she surpassed 1,500 career points and 500 rebounds. Maci also earned First Team All-Region honors.

Maci has good positional size and an athletic frame that allows her to impact the game in multiple ways. She thrived in transition, pulling down rebounds and going coast to coast to score on several possessions. She also showed great control and balance, finishing strong off two feet in the paint.

A talented scorer who also excels at doing a lot of winning things, Messer is a big wing who can score the ball efficiently and make an impact on the defensive end. She shot the three at a high percentage in her Sophomore season but is effective at both getting to the rim and finishing through contact when necessary. Maci could be primed for a big AAU season.
