A talented scorer who also excels at doing a lot of winning things, Messer is a big wing who can score the ball efficiently and make an impact on the defensive end. She shot the three at a high percentage in her Sophomore season but is effective at both getting to the rim and finishing through contact when necessary. Maci could be primed for a big AAU season.

When I combed through film on Messer, I could instantly tell that she was a top athlete. She is crafty at the rim with some of the nicest and smoothest moves that you will see! She has amazing length and she knows exactly how and when to use it to her advantage. Yes, her coach also stated that she knows how to take advantage of mismatches. She has remarkable playmaking abilities! This one is a complete package that has a game that translates to the next level. Remember, she is only a freshman!

Maci is a prospect that I got to see for a couple of games and while I can’t point at any one particular play or one specific skill that blew me away, Messer left a really positive impression because she does everything well. Already adept at impacting winning, Maci makes everyone around her better with her playmaking and showed the ability to guard multiple positions.
