The #4-ranked guard in the class of 2027 has emerged as a confident scorer who will punish defenses for any lapse or mistake.

Macie was the engine that made everything run for Arvada West. She can score the ball at all three levels but just as importantly, she controlled the game by making the right reads and keeping her team organized. On the defensive end, she flew around the floor, getting into passing lanes and creating disruption.

Ferguson delivered a great performance on Monday evening, dropping 23 points against Columbine in the overtime thriller. Her shooting was on point as she knocked down 3-out-6 from deep. Ferguson was clutch in the closing moments of the game. She calmly drained two free throws with 4 seconds left to send the game into overtime. In the extra period, she came up big again, weaving through the defense for a go-ahead floater. That basket gave the Wildcats a 64-62 lead with 6 seconds left. Ferguson’s performance in this thriller proved her star quality.

Ferguson has been the driving force behind Arvada West’s success this season. Her leadership is evident every time she takes the floor, orchestrating the offense and setting up her teammates. With a silky smooth stroke, Ferguson is a deadly three-pointer shooter. She is able draws defenders out, then uses her nice handles to slice through the defense for easy finishes. Her passing is on point, and her smart decision-making keeps the offense humming.  

Macie is a guard who looks ready to step into a leadership role on both offense and defense. She does whatever needs to be done to win games while still creating for her teammates at a high level. On offense she’s one of the go-to players who can settle the team and make big plays when needed.

Macie is an underrated guard coming into the season with something to prove. She plays with a chip on her shoulder and brings leadership and toughness to the floor. Macie’s ability to create plays score in key moments, and keep her team composed will be needed as the season goes on. With her confidence she’s ready to help lead her team on a deep playoff run.

Macie turned heads all summer with how she made the game look easy. She has a knack for putting the ball in the basket at will while also making her teammates better. Her willingness to defend makes her a true two-way threat.

Ferguson was scoring all over the floor. She was hitting inside and out and her smooth stroke from deep was really nice. Her pace getting up the floor to her spots was on point and so was her balance and footwork.

Macie shocked a lot of people with her impactful play this season. She uses her athleticism and length to force opponents into tough spots on the defensive end. Offensively, she is a good scoring guard, capable of knocking down shots from deep and putting the ball on the floor.
