About Macie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

An extremely quick and elusive point guard that excels in transition. Very smooth with the basketball and a great passer within tight windows. Can explosively penetrate to the basket especially with a strong left hand. Can also shoot extremely well from outside the arc. Disruptive on defense and causes issues on the perimeter. Great on both ends of the floor.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Strong willed and a very tough competitor. Very coachable and an extremely hard worker. Great chemistry team player on and off the court. A great leader on the court that encourages teammates for success.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

National Honor Society. Received top athlete award in middle school.

What type of college are you looking for?

Open to all schools.

Macie is a shifty guard who demonstrated great instincts as a lead guard at the PGH Michigan State Showcase. She grabbed a defensive rebound, saw the advantage, called out a teammate’s name, and fired a lead pass on a rope up the court for the assist. Macie forced a miss with a hard closeout on the perimeter, split the gap on a hard drive to the basket, pushed the ball with pace using both hands in transition, and scanned the floor for open teammates.
