With Hale, a team will be on the correct trail. All four of OMG Academy 15U’s games at the Triumph Region Finals were morning matchups. That included a Saturday game with All Alabama 15U where Hale’s assembling prevailed by the lopsided margin of 52-13. A balanced OMG Academy 15U scoring effort was spearheaded by Hale who scored 11 points. Versatility is one of the strong points of Hale’s game as she can give a team worthwhile minutes in the backcourt at the one or the two or in the frontcourt as a three. The representative from 6A Clay-Chalkville stands at 5-foot-7. Accuracy from long distance and defense are other positives to her game. We remember Hale’s name from the Roll Tide Rumble in early April.

OMG Academy 15U began this year’s Triumph Region Finals by making an emphatic statement against All Alabama 15U that it wanted to be the last team standing in the 15U realm. Hale tallied 11 points to lead her team to a resounding victory over its fellow Alabama foes. Out of the 11 she scored, seven occurred in the second half of play. Hale also displayed her high basketball IQ as she was not called for a single foul throughout the contest. She is versatile with an ability to play minutes as either a one or two in the backcourt or as a three in the frontcourt. Hale will be a name to watch at 6A Clay-Chalkville.

Hale’s OMG Academy 15U team did not play its first game at the Roll Tide Rumble until late in the afternoon. It was well worth the wait as Hale tallied 11 points to put her team in the win column by virtue of a 63-44 decision over Fly Girls Tamara 15U. Much of the damage she did occurred in the first half as Hale placed eight of her 11 on the scoreboard. Along with helping her teammate on the scoreboard, she stayed away from the whistle for the most part as she was only called for one personal foul for that entire contest. OMG is short for On My Grind – Hale was certainly on hers from the opening tip to the final buzzer.
