Another player with quite the junior season, Maddie Gerhart Maddie Gerhart 6'1" | PF McMinnville | 2024 State OR was the player of the year in the Pacific Conference in addition to gaining honors for honorable mention all-state and OBCA honorable mention all-state. In watching her, Gerhart is virtually impossible for opposing defenses to stop. Once she catches the ball, even from the elbow, there is no keeping her from getting to the rim and scoring once she makes up her mind to do so. Her footwork and balance are elite and allow her to make second moves on the rare occasion that someone slows her initial attack. She also consistently puts up great numbers for the Grizzlies in the rebounding, blocks, and steals columns. Those of us in the stands are in for a treat this season for Gerhart’s senior year, after which, she is headed to Bushnell University to play where she will without a doubt have an immediate impact.
