Maddy is a player that has made a striking impression in her career so far. Steel was a Sun Chronical All-Star that’s had some reaffirming games already this season. The senior guard hit over 70 3-pointers last season and is looking to lift her team up with her essential play the rest of the year. She can be effective within the offense or even a quality option to swing to as things break down. Steel is a top 20 ranked player at her position that’s committed to Tufts.

The recent Tuft’s commit makes her mark felt as one of the pure shooters in the class. The Bishop Feehan guard is a lefty sniper. Steel has a pure shot that is high arching with a wonderful looking release. Her shooting mechanics work in tandem with the footwork that allow her to have great balance. Maddy is a shooting threat and can function in various sets that get her open looks. She is more lethal off the catch, but does show ability to catch off the handoff and can put the ball on the floor for a couple dribbles before getting a shot off. Last year Steel averaged close to 15 ppg while shooting 70 3-pointers on the year. Maddy is coming into the year improving on her game and she could climb the ranks with impressive play through the year for Bishop Feehan.
