Madelyn has found herself a starter as a freshman on a very good Kindred Vikings team.   She is a quick guard that is still growing into her lengthy frame.  I like how hard she plays and her willingness to accept her current role while working towards a bigger role in the future.  She plays the bottom of Kindred’s half-court 1-3-1 zone, a position where she excels.  Her speed and quickness is on display while she flies from corner to corner in their zone.  She is a good screener and is able to dribble out of double teams.  Pederson is going to be a good player for the Vikings.
