Wilson is the top returning center in 2A. The concensus first team pick by KBCA, KSHSAACovered, SIK and Flint Hills League has long impressed with her footwork on both ends, smart use of her size to go either way with the ball in the paint, her speed and her steady play. I saw her battle a few powerful centers over the summer and she held her own. She heads into her senior season having already poured in nearly 1,300 points. The Bulldogs reached the 2A state tournament and have their eye on a returning.

Wilson has shown a consistently strong, diverse game over the years and this weekend proved no different. I enjoyed seeing her battle a couple other quality bigs and Wilson held her own. She showed strength, quickness and transition speed as well as a willingness to use her lower body to hold ground or try to move or hold opponents. A very solid next-level prospect.

Wilson is arguably one of the most unknown top players in the class. She and her Bulldogs took a 15-5 record into arguably the strongest 2A sub-state last season and were summarily dismissed by Inman by nearly 30. I anticipate the two-time Flint Hills League first, Sports In Kansas 2A second and KSHSAACovered third team selection will make a deep sub-state run this season. Wilson is diverse talent on both ends of the floor with terrific size. Walking double-double.
