About Madysen

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a very aggressive point guard. I always have a desire to win and motivate my team to do the same. I'm a team leader and if I make a dumb mistake, I'm very coachable to correct my mistakes and helps me be a better team leader. I have excellent ball handling skills.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have great decision-making skills and great communication skills. I'm tough and not selfish. I'm a leader in my team and these qualities allow me to be the point guard for my team and lead my team to be successful.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have been with SSA Gameball out of Manhattan KS for 3 years and this year I joined another club team called WKE (Western Kansas Elite). I made all-star team in the Denver Colorado tournament and the Beyond the border in Kansas city thus far.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have coached 5th and 6th grade kids inc basketball for 2 years now. What I have learned through my coaches in junior high and High school and also what I have learned from my Club coaches has allowed me to share my knowledge to underclassman. It's a joy to teach them and prepare them for their middle school and high school achievement in basketball.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

What type of college are you looking for?

My dream is to play for OU and or LSU - but I will be happy anywhere even if my start is at a Juco college. I'm eager to advance my game and my skills. My mom has always taught me knowledge is power and I do my best to live my life like that.
