With a key senior for Liberal leaving this year, Madysen’s game will most likely take the next step offensively. Currently ranked at #150, I can see her climbing the top 100 by fall easily.

Hammond offers versatility that makes her a valuable asset in multiple spots. She’s comfortable handling the ball, but also strong enough to play inside when needed, but also is a threat from beyond the arc. That blend of guard-forward skills gives Liberal flexibility and allows Hammond to impact games in a variety of ways. With continued development in her shooting and defensive reads, she has the potential to be a matchup problem for opponents.

She has good first step, finishes strong, and can get hot from beyond the arc, consistently creates scoring opportunities and plays with confidence. Defensively, she’s aggressive and disruptive, often turning steals into transition points. Coaches should keep an eye on her as she continues to elevate her game on both ends of the floor.

Madysen is a pure athlete with impressive speed and strong ball-handling skills. These skills allow her to thrive in transition, often leading and efficiently finishing fast breaks. In addition, she’s a threat from deep and can heat up quickly from beyond the arc. As she continues to gain experience and sharpen her basketball IQ, she is clearly on track to become a force on both ends of the court.
