Joyce is one of the most physically imposing guards in the 2028 class. At 6’0 with size, length, and strength, she overpowers defenders, finishing through heavy contact and getting to the line. She’s deceptively quick, skilled around the basket, and increasingly confident with her handle and jumper. Joyce can post up, score off cuts, or knock down shots on the perimeter, making her a matchup nightmare. When we rank prospects at Prep Girls Hoops it is always with the end product in mind. Given that Maggie’s in the top 20, you know we’re bullish on her future.

#16 – When we made the decision to include Maggie in our spring Watch List for the Class of 2028 we obviously felt confident about her long-term potential. We could not have predicted just how good her summer would turn out to be. Joyce’s size, athleticism, skills and versatility are all impressive, as is her big motor and strong work ethic. Joyce was the undisputed leader of the 2027 Rise squad. She’ll move to the Minnesota Fury in 2025.
