Maggie King Maggie King 6'0" | C/PF Westview | 2029 TN is coming off an impressive first season for Westview High School.

Kibng at the center position has above-average speed, which she uses well. She runs the floor notably good and also does a great job after rebounding in delivering a quick outlet pass to one of her guards. Her speed also allows her to pick off passes at a good rate. In a game against Lake County High School last season, she had four steals.

King on offense can score effectively on the inside, but is capable of knocking down perimeter jumpers at 6’0″. King is also a great screen setter.

A tough kid who is going to command the painted area. Offensively, she can work with her back to the basket as well as face up and score from the mid-range. Defensively, she will be physical, control the boards, and create tough shot opportunities for her opponents. Look for her to get some valuable court time as she helps Westview continue its winning tradition.

King showed off some solid post moves at the event and had good fundamentals in grabbing rebounds. She did a nice job of positioning herself in front of her assignment before a shot went up.

On the defensive end, King was good at guarding opposing posts. She made it hard for them to gain any ground or access to the paint when attacking her. And she also did a good job of contesting their shots if they chose to shoot against her.

Big-body kid who is going to get after it on both ends of the floor. Can stretch the floor, work inside, and finish at the rim against contact with ease. She is a tough competitor who is going to be aggressive on both ends. She grabs boards, blocks shots, and really ignites her club. She’s going to be the next big thing that comes from a tough Westview program. Look for her to get after it, make her mark, and thrive as she grows over the next couple of years. Solid kid who has tons of potential.
