Maggy Mitchell Maggy Mitchell 6'0" | PF/C Iota | 2027 State LA made her Millsaps camp opportunity count! Her performance earned an offer from head coach Jeff Wilbur, giving her a reason to celebrate and another step toward playing at the next level.

What I like about Maggy is the foundation she brings defensively. She has shown she can challenge shots around the basket and collect rebounds, giving her ways to impact possessions without needing the offense built around her.

That’s why she fits our “New Names, Big-Time Potential” spotlight. She put her game in front of the staff and came away with an opportunity to continue her basketball career. Keep developing those finishes, trusting your game, and building on this moment, Maggy. Congratulations on the Millsaps offer—the work is opening doors!

Maggy Mitchell Maggy Mitchell 6'0" | PF/C Iota | 2027 State LA gives me a reason to look beyond the scoring column! The 6’0” Iota forward in the 2027 class has shown she can contribute on the glass and challenge shots around the basket. Her documented high school performances include rebounding and shot blocking, giving her useful ways to impact a game defensively. As a coach, I value a player who can help get a stop and finish that possession with a rebound.

For our “2027 Prospects Making Noise in New Orleans” feature, Maggy brings size and varsity experience worth paying attention to. Her recruiting profile lists multiple seasons as a starter and experience as a team captain. That’s a solid foundation as she continues developing her game. Keep building, Maggy—those contributions inside matter!
