Holbert has been a big time thorn in opponents’ sides for years because her game is so fundamentally solid! She takes care of the basketball, has a way of sneaking past her opponent, and finds ways of either scoring herself or dishing the rock to her teammates. She’s automatic from the charity stripe!
Holbert’s court vision, and her ability to control the tempo, understanding who needs to shoot, when to shoot, and how she distributes the rock is wonderful to watch! On ball pressure does not phase her- great job keeping the ball alive! Love her defense!
I love how Holbert runs the offense! She certainly plays like an upperclassman- shows confidence, and composure- and her pressure on defense is truly splendid to watch! She makes life difficult for opponents, particularly in half court traps and doesn’t allow much breathing room to set up.
