Check out my Sunday Standouts listed below!
Highlights
Hailee Gordon Hailee Gordon 5'8" | SG Woodford County | 2026 State KY put on one of the most impressive performances I seen all day on Sunday. In a tough matchup against Kentucky Ice 2026 Gordon was on fire it seemed like every shot she took went in the basket. Gordon put Richmond Heat 2026 on her back and carried the scoring load knocking down shots from three and from the mid-range. She also crashed the boards racking up a ton of rebounds. Woodford County has one of the most lethal scorers in the 8th region and I’m excited to see what she does for them next season. (Featured Image Above)
Akiyah Wade Akiyah Wade 5'6" | CG Bryan Station | 2026 State KY really came to play on Sunday she facilitated the ball well dropping dimes that put her teammates in position to score. Wade was constantly attacking the rim where she either finished with a lay up or drew contact that resulted in free throw opportunities. What I liked the most about her is the passion she brings to the floor she was always cheering her teammates on keeping them encouraged throughout the entire game.
Highlights
Maggie Keith Maggie Keith 5'7" | SG South Central (Elizabeth) | 2026 IN really stood out too me on Sunday with her high energy level and relentless effort on both ends of the floor. Keith did a great job playing help defense and applying ball pressure that disrupted the opposing teams offensive flow. She also made some nice passes always looking to get others involved. Her IQ on the court is something special she just knows how to play the game.
Watching Mia Braffet Mia Braffet 5'6" | CG Whitefield Academy | 2027 State KY play made me excited for the future of girls basketball here in Kentucky. Braffet lit it up from long range hitting several three pointers that kept her team in the game. She showed her ability to run the show and distribute the ball setting up her teammates to score. Her play helped Kentucky Ice 2026 get the hard fought victory over Richmond Heat 2026 in a back and forth battle 52-50.
Magnolia Holbert Magnolia Holbert 5'5" | PG Unioto | 2026 OH is a fierce competitor that knows how to score the ball and get others involved. It seemed like every other possession she was scoring at rim or knocking down a three pointer. Holbert put her passing ability on display as well dishing some nice assist that got the people in the stands really into it. Her excellent play helped Arctic Rush Blue 2026 beat Kentucky Ice 2026 64-35.
Aniyah Anthony
Aniyah Anthony
Aniyah Anthony is a true point guard that displays leadership qualities when she’s on the floor. I liked her game against Arctic Rush Grey 2026. She was very vocal on the court calling out screens on defense while directing the flow of the offense as well. She rebounded the ball really well I saw her go up and snatch rebounds over much taller players. Anthony has tremendous athleticism, blazing speed and a solid spot up jumper.
Ava Moore Ava Moore 5'10" | SG CAL | 2026 State KY had a great game in the highly anticipated matchup against United Family 3SSB 2027. I noticed on several possessions her slashing the lane getting points at the rim. Her ability to drive the ball and penetrate the defense made her very hard to stop. Moore has great upside and she is playing at a high level right now for Dana Evans Elite 2026.
