Central Indiana Standouts (The Suburbs)

In this specific article, I wanted to create an All-Central Indiana team of the Top 5 prospects from the counties surrounding Indianapolis/Marion County heading into the 2026-2027 season. Below that list is an Honorable Mention section including one prospect from each high school in the area. She is a strong guard, she makes good decisions with the ball in her hands, and she possesses a versatile skillset. She can act as a game manger on point, get her team into its offense, plus she can create a little and has solid vision. At the same time, she is a very good perimeter shooter you also want to run off screens, so she can be as much of a weapon off the ball. She plays with a nice motor, a quiet toughness, and she will make a lot of hustle plays. Riley is highly skilled and puts the time in working on her game. She is a good shooter with range well-beyond the 3-point line, but she can also run offense and find open teammates for easy scores. She has good size and length, developing strength, and she is very skilled. She can shoot it to beyond the 3-point line consistently, but more impressively, she has really worked on her mid-post game and her post-ups. Defensively, she's able to defend some posts, all '4s', and she's athletic enough to defend out on the wing. By this Summer, she was handling the ball in transition at times against 17U and 16U competition. She has mid-post moves into a fadeaway jumper that is hard to guard, she can knock down open rhythm 3-pointers, but she also plays with enough physicality to dominate smaller defenders on the block. She has an athletic frame, some strength already, plus skill. She is strong on attack, she can finish in a variety of ways around the basket, plus she absorbs contact fairly well considering her age, and that's with playing a lot of games against 17U &amp; 16U competition. She is a playmaker, but a lot of her recruiting by Top 25 type schools could come down to whether she is 5-8, 5-10, or 6-0 in a couple of years.
