Gaston is a couple of inches shy of “the magic number” but that doesn’t matter because she plays as if she’s above it, and DESIRE is one of those things I love seeing because you can’t teach it, as she went AFTA everything off the rim. She does a good job of using her frame on both ends. Her “hands and footwork” to score looked good, but she also showed she can be powerful inside the paint on her finishes after contact. She also went “coast to coast” to score, yet her court vision was another plus. She also showed she could defend both inside and outside the paint
