Harris technically isn’t a new face as @playerrrrimedies caught her at the PGH Freshman Showcase and suggested she be placed in the mix, but this was my first look, and seeing how long and athletic she was, as well as her handling the ball under pressure going full speed, had me smiling. She blew by defenders at will, her court vision and finishing after contact looked good, so did her “on the ball” pressure and playing the passing lane

Harris brought so much energy at the PGH Freshman Showcase during the 3 on 3, and that continued throughout the event. She’s a “long and athletic” guard, which is the base, and her being #sizedontmatter didn’t because she brought heat on both ends. Harris plays with a relentless motor, quickly recovering from a missed shot by being the first one back on defense to stop the ball. On the sidelines, she maturity beyond her years by engaging with coaches, asking questions, and demonstrating a true hunger to learn. That combination of effort and coachability makes her a valuable long-term prospect.
