Since I am based out of the Little Rock Metropolitan area, it is difficult for me to watch teams out of Northwest Arkansas in person. However, Springdale Har-Ber took a trip to Conway to face Vilonia in a tournament for their first game of the season. There, I got to watch Makenlie Campbell Makenlie Campbell CG Springdale Har-Ber | 2027 State AR and her twin sister in action.

Campbell is an excellent scorer who got herself going in the first half of that game against the Lady Eagles. She had 8 points heading into halftime. In that game and all of her other great performances throughout her sophomore year, she showed grit and determination when attacking the basket, finishing in any way she could.

Campbell is just as dangerous from the outside as she is from the lane. She is an excellent 3-point shooter who only needs to see one shot go in for her to have a big night. On the other end of the floor, Campbell is a well-known pest, picking up multiple steals a night after applying suffocating defensive pressure.
