Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of the Student Care team and National Honor Society. I received an award for being the top Chemistry student.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have been a team captain since I was a sophomore and it has taught me to lead by example and out of humility. As a leader, I hold my teammates accountable, push them to be better, and support them on and off the court. I do a lot of community service; volunteering at Operation Christmas Child, youth sports camps, and local food kitchens.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I tore my ACL in January of my sophomore year and it took me away from basketball. Although, it was one of the greatest things that could have happened to me because it taught me to work harder and to live in gratitude. It also made me physically stronger than I was before.
