How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I have a playing style that I would say balances precision and strategy. I utilize my strong basketball IQ and court vision to quickly identify the best opportunities and make quick but informed decisions. I prioritize making plays that benefit the team as a whole. My precise and reliable shooting, especially from beyond the arc, helps me to be a strategic and effective player.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My basketball mentality centers on being the best teammate I can. I try to encourage my teammates before, during and after games. Although I can be tough on myself, I try to see mistakes and opportunities to grow and embrace a “next play” mentality. My off the court personality is generally goofy and very friendly.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have been involved in Student Council for 3 years. I take Honors Classes and am a Renaissance and Honor Roll student.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Basketball has shaped who I am as a person on and off the court. It has helped me develop strong teamwork qualities by teaching me the importance of a team, communication and trust. It has also taught me how to embrace views, ideas and thoughts and learn from my peers. Basketball has taught me skills that apply on the court and beyond.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I am fortunate to play in a class of incredibly strong female basketball players. While there are many advantages in playing against some of the best in the state, navigating the high- pressure environment has been challenging at times. The pressure of high expectations can get to you at times but it has also been a lesson in how to handle pressure.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has a team which focuses on athlete success on and off the court. I aim to be on a team with a group that works hard and has fun together. I am open to colleges anywhere in the country.
