Lofton had a stellar game for the Pioneers in their lose to Kettering Fairmount scoring 30 points and shooting 10/19 from the field! The Mercer commit hit a total of seven threes…yes…seven threes in the lose! Lofton is a pure gamer! She also got to the free throw line and made her attempts at the stripe. Lofton has a very loud game that was on full display during Western Reserve Academy’s game versus Kettering Fairmont in the 2026 Classic In The Country!

The picture below shows Lofton’s all around day at the office! Terrific handles! Maliyah’s transition game, and taking it to the bucket is her bread and butter! But her defense is just as fierce and greatly impacts the team and momentum of the game! (Below shooting) 

She is so athletic, long  so quick and has active hands. She is a big-time playmaker with great downhill speed and is able to finish off shots at the rim. Ready for the next level, but first, hoping for a big senior season ahead!!

Maliyah is a great leader on the court with great court sense. Has very good court vision and is able to lead the break with the outlet pass. Finds her teammates. She displays a good basketball IQ. An explosive player who can take over a game. (Featured photo above)

Lofton gets the job done every game, and she starts with intense, suffocating defense. Her feet are always moving- ultra strong motor that makes her a beast on both ends of the court. Great handles and shooting skills! (Below on defense)

This youngster moves up to number 20 from number 25. Offers including Coppin State, Mercer. She always puts her all into every play and completes the task at hand when she steps onto the floor. She is interesting to watch because she knows how to score points in a variety of ways and can go coast to coast with the ball. She is dangerous and difficult to stop because she has a powerful motor, picks up the basketball fast, and engages her teammates in spot-on passes and exchanges. Excellent communication skills, management skills, and the ability to know when to slow down and launch an attack at the rim.

When she steps put on the floor she gets the job done and always gives her full effort on every play. Seeing her go coast to coast with the ball and know how to score makes her entertaining to watch. She possesses a strong motor, picks up the basketball quickly, and engages her teammates in spot on passes and interactions that make her dangerous and challenging to stop. Her speed is deadly and that makes it hard for her defender to stop her from attacking the rim. She currently has offers from Coppin State and Mercer. She moves up a spot from number 27 to number 26.
