Marayah has a quick first step which is why she is able to get to the rim easily. She has the ability to hit shots off the dribble and can space the floor for her teammates by hitting from beyond the arc. Her style of play perfectly fits the identity of the Tornadoes who like to press, play fast, aggressive and use their pressure on defense to create opportunities in transition to get easy points. The 5’7 junior is averaging 3.8 rebounds and just under two steals per game so far this season. For Booker to finally get over the hump and win a state title, they will need Marayah to keep growing as an offensive player and help give them a more balanced attack with an already deep roster of talent.

The 5’8 guard is athletic and plays both sides of the ball. Marayah has a quick first step that allows her to get by her defender and is strong enough to finish through contact at the basket. She has a quick release on her shot and can shoot off the dribble. Stuart is a very good on ball defender, last year she averaged 1.7 steals per game for Booker, and was able to use her athleticism to create steals in the passing lane. Her game fits the Tornadoes aggressive and defense first mindset.
