How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

When playing a game, I try to be explosive with the ball, meaning taking it to the rim and going up strong. For defense, I try and play aggressive. I am usually defending the best player so I always try to do my best to not let them score.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

On and off the court, I try to be as positive as I can in making sure that I am always cheering after a good play. I try to be encouraging towards my teammates and myself.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am currently involved in Cedarville FFA, Key Club, Jr. Fair Board, and 4-H. I just earned my Green Hand degree for Cedarville FFA, and I am the club secretary for my 4-H club. I was elected this year to represent the freshman class as a member of the Student Council.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Since this was my freshman year of basketball, I tried to be a leader as much as possible, but I think I mainly focus on playing as a team because a team doesn't win games if they play individually.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes. While I have the second highest shooting percentage in our league, I am also aware that a good percentage of my shots come from driving to the basket. A challenge for me has been trying to improve my form on my outside shot. This is something that will improve with repetition and focus.
