Marly Hill Marly Hill 5'5" | PG Grants Pass | 2029 State OR is a cool-headed multisport athlete from Southern Oregon who competes above her size and her age. The 5-foot-5 freshman started at point guard in her debut high school season at Grants Pass, helping lead the Cavers to second place in conference and to the first round of the playoffs. This past weekend, Hill played up in the 2027 division with the Central Oregon Force second team at the Battle in the EC where she showcased her handles, vision, rebounding, and motor. The floor general plays under control, with the ability to dictate the pace. She especially stands out for her maturity and work rate — she’s more often on the winning end of 50/50s, and she’s a plus rebounder. While playing against national competition this spring and summer, Hill said she’s looking to sharpen her distribution off the bounce, moving the ball efficiently and finding the clear assist. Hill plays next at the Select Events Spring Showcase this weekend. When she gets back from Phoenix, she’ll temporarily trade her basketball for a golf club to compete in the OSAA girls golf state championships.
