[player_tooltip player_id='1826648' first='Marly' last='Hill'] is a cool-headed multisport athlete from Southern Oregon who competes above her size and her age. The 5-foot-5 freshman started at point guard in her debut high school season at Grants Pass, helping lead the Cavers to second place in conference and to the first round of the playoffs. This past weekend, Hill played up in the 2027 division with the Central Oregon Force second team at the Battle in the EC where she showcased her handles, vision, rebounding, and motor. The floor general plays under control, with the ability to dictate the pace. She especially stands out for her maturity and work rate — she's more often on the winning end of 50/50s, and she's a plus rebounder. While playing against national competition this spring and summer, Hill said she's looking to sharpen her distribution off the bounce, moving the ball efficiently and finding the clear assist. Hill plays next at the Select Events Spring Showcase this weekend. When she gets back from Phoenix, she'll temporarily trade her basketball for a golf club to compete in the OSAA girls golf state championships.

[player_tooltip player_id='1264948' first='Ainsley' last='Ure'] is a defensive specialist who played up on the Central Oregon Force first team in the 2027 division at the Battle in the EC, where she showcased her ability to do some heavy lifting at point guard. The 5-foot-5 freshman had a standout sixth-man performance for Redmond at the 5A state tournament in March. She's building on where she left off this spring as a strong perimeter defender, containing the point of attack and picking up steals, and she's shown improvement in her handling. Ure is a competitor whose defense drives her offense, and she got after it on both ends of the court, especially making plays in transition. She displayed elite scoring ability when she attacked the basket, getting by the defender with a euro step for the layup finish. Ure will be competing in the Select Events Spring Showcase in Phoenix this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1264946' first='Alisson' last='Olivo'] is a speedy guard who showed her ability to push the pace and attack the rim in the top pool of the 2029 division with NW Select at the Battle in the EC. The 5-foot-6 freshman has a quick first step on both ends of the court. She displayed good handles, a nice three-point shot, and the ability to go coast-to-coast. Olivo was swift downhill and finished athletic takes to the basket. She showed the ability to score through contact and the foul. The freshman is putting in the work and waiting her turn at Silverton, a deep program that will return to the state stage this next season. Be on the lookout for Olivo at the Select Events Spring Showcase in Phoenix this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1826665' first='Jocelyn' last='Strasburg'] played up with Oregon Overtime in the 2028 division at the Battle in the EC where she displayed her quick playmaking and solid defense at the guard position. The 5-foot-9 freshman, who swung between JV and Varsity at Barlow, showed her ability to create for herself and her teammates. She beat her defender to the paint and finished inside with a step-through and scoop layup. She drew two defenders in the corner but was capable of finding a clean pass out for the three-point assist. She was quick to find the cutter inside, leading them to the basket. On the defensive end, Strasburg knew her assignment and consistently contained her opponent to the perimeter. The underclassmen is a good shooter, shifty on the bounce, and has a nice floater. This spring and summer, she's looking to get more aggressive and not shy away from contact. She is looking to add more to her downhill game and is working to earn more minutes on Varsity next season. Strasburg will be playing at the Select Events Spring Showcase in Phoenix this weekend.
