MaryGrace, competing with Team Sparks at the P2W Headliners Invitational Showcase, was unable to finish the entire event as she was feeling under the weather and had to step away prior to the 5v5 sessions. However, during the 3v3 portion and drill work, she still made a noticeable impact. She used her strength effectively in the paint, finishing through contact and holding her own against defenders while also showing good activity on the boards. In the finishing drills, her footwork stood out, as she demonstrated balance, control, and solid technique around the basket.

MaryGrace is a small forward from Saginaw Swan Valley who could stand out at the Headliners Inviational Showcase on Sunday. She has good anticipation on the defensive end, leading to blocks and steals. MG finishes well off two feet around the basket and works hard to secure second-chance rebounds. She has the range to step outside and hit perimeter jumpers, while also slashing to the hoop on hard drives.

MaryGrace stepped into a lead role as a freshman and after seeing her compete at many events during the off-season, I expect a huge sophomore season from her this winter. She has visible strength on the court and elevates for powerful finishes around the basket. MaryGrace battles for rebounds and rips the ball away on defense with intensity. She drives hard to score off the dribble and knocks down jumpers for Swan Valley. I am excited to see MaryGrace compete and show off her hard work from the off-season this winter.

MaryGrace left a great first impression on me at SVSU Elite Camp and I was happy to see her again at Upside. She had strong zip on her passes, knocked down many free throws consecutively, and was one of the most aggressive rebounders on the court. MaryGrace had solid footwork in the paint, stripped the ball away on defense, and split defenders using her dribble to draw a foul.

MaryGrace is an extremely athletic wing prospect who separated herself from the pack at SVSU Elite Camp with her finishing skills, leaping ability, and athleticism. MaryGrace makes plays on the defensive end and blows by defenders with her quickness off the dribble. She has the potential to be a heavily recruited prospect as she develops her outside shooting. MaryGrace is a player who I’m excited to see compete at Upside on Sunday!

had me saying “Who’s that girl?” at SVSU Team Camp 2. Her height, athletic profile, and skills as a 2027 make her a college prospect with a ton of potential. She showed good footwork and finishing, using both hands during the finishing drills. She elevated way up around the basket, buried a 3 up top, and anticipated a pass in help to secure a steal during 3v3. As she fine tunes her outside shot, MaryGrace will be lethal on the offensive end because of her length and athleticism.
