Sophia has been on a tear this spring for Michigan Prospects 17U, and that continued at the PGH MI College Tour II. When I saw the set play developing, I had a feeling the defense was in for trouble. Sophie ran through a double screen on the baseline, caught the pass in the corner, lined up her shot, and buried the open triple. She drilled another no-doubter three from the slot and penetrated gaps with a determination off the dribble to cause fouls. Sophie converted her free throws efficiently, pushed the ball up the court with pace to create fast break points after securing defensive rebounds, and avoided defenders in traffic with her fancy footwork. She helped her squad win the Silver Championship and received All-Tournament First Team recognition.

Sophia earned recognition as the P2W Headliners Invitational Showcase MVP in March, turning in an impressive two-way performance. She set a single-season record with more than 60 threes and averaged 17 points per game for Airport. Sophia has at least 11 offers from a variety of NAIA/D3/JUCO colleges.

Sophia had a strong showing at the P2W Headliners Invitational Showcase in October, and she took it up another notch in her second appearance. Her jump stop step-throughs were among the best during drills, and she was outright dominant for Team Liberty in the games. Sophia scored several layups during the games. She finished in transition, penetrated off the dribble, and scored through contact. Sophia converted a tough and-one layup with her left hand going full speed and made smooth ball-transfers to score with both hands at the rim. One of her highlight reel plays was when she created space using an inside-out step back combination dribble, then swished a quick-release corner three in the face of a defender. Sophia buried another smooth wing three off the dribble, picked off passes on defense, pushed the tempo, and grabbed rebounds. She separated herself and earned recognition as my MVP at the showcase.

Sophia set a school record this season with over 60 made threes. She helped Airport win its first Regional Championship, pouring in 20 points for the Jets. Sophia led the team in scoring, averaging 17 per game, and will be the deadliest shooter in the gym on Sunday. Sophia left the Headliners Invitational Showcase with an offer from Spring Arbor in October, and she’ll be a name college coaches have circled heading into the event.

Sophia etched her name in the Carleton Airport history books, setting a new school record with 50 three-pointers this season.

Sophia was dialed in from beyond the arc, ripping the nets for 31 points during an 82-35 win vs. New Boston Huron. Sophia added six rebounds and three steals in the effort. She followed that with a productive outing of 19 points, four rebounds, and three assists in a 52-45 win at Milford.

Sophia left the Headliners Invitational with an offer, putting her next-level abilities on full display. Sophia shot the ball accurately from the perimeter, delivered passes into the post with great touch, and converted layups efficiently in traffic. Sophia scanned the floor in transition and confidently pushed the tempo, handling the ball effectively with either hand. She earned All-Showcase Third Team honors and is ready for a monster Junior season at Airport HS.

Sophia was a top performer for Team Sparks and made a lasting impression at the Headliners Invitational—so much so that she earned an offer from Spring Arbor University following the event. The skilled guard showcased her ability to score from all levels, confidently knocking down shots from the perimeter while also finishing strong through traffic. She handled the ball with poise and control, consistently pushing the pace and keeping the defense on its heels. Sophia also displayed excellent court vision, delivering crisp, timely passes to her post players and setting up her teammates for success throughout the day.

Sophia was a Top Performer at the PGH Expo, and she’ll be one of the premier guard prospects on the court at the Headliners Invitational. She’s a sharpshooter with polished ball-handling and a non-stop motor. Sophia can flat-out score, and she’ll be a prospect coaches pay attention to on Sunday.

Sophia earned 3rd team selection honors as one of Team 7’s top performers at the PGH Expo, standing out with her scoring versatility and high-level all-around game. She consistently stretched defenses with her deep shooting, knocking down threes with rhythm and confidence, while also attacking the rim with strength and finishing through contact. In transition, Sophia was a dual threat—racing down the floor for easy scores and finding open teammates with sharp, accurate passes. On defense, her quick hands and anticipation disrupted opponents’ offensive flow, generating turnovers that led to fast-break opportunities. Beyond her scoring and defensive presence, she demonstrated smart decision-making, poise under pressure, and a high basketball IQ that allowed her to impact the game in multiple ways, solidifying her status as one of the standout guards of the day.
