Machen brings modern versatility to the frontcourt. She has reliable three-point range, which allows her to operate as a pick-and-pop option or trail for clean looks in transition. Her size still makes her effective inside, but it’s her ability to force defenders out of the paint that gives her unique value. Coaches love her balance of perimeter shooting and interior rebounding. After earning her first Division I offer from UAB this summer, Machen has firmly put herself on the recruiting map.
