Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m an aggressive downhill player with the ability to score from under the basket to beyond the college three. I attack the rim, draw fouls, and finish strong. Defensively, I’m chest-to-chest with quick feet, locking down on and off the ball. I rebound hard on both ends and see the floor well, delivering precise, finesse passes that set my teammates up to score.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Basketball is about energy, focus, and teamwork, and I bring all three every time I step on the court. There is little that shakes me and I take the same approach to every game from the first to the championship. I am a great teammate and friend, showing my positivity and compassion in all areas of my life. I am also very coachable and show the utmost respect to the coaches, players, and refs.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I also play volleyball for the Starz organization and school. I am looking forward to high school where I can join more clubs.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through the sports I have played I have learned to lead by example, bringing energy, focus, and a team-first mindset every game/practice. I communicate on the floor, encourage my teammates, and make sure everyone is in the right position to succeed. My goal is always to elevate the play of those around me while keeping the team united and driven toward our goals.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My challenge has always been organization, that used to impact my academics when I was younger; however, through trial and error along with adult guidance I have found tools that help me stay organized in my daily life and school.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a school that will help me attain my athletic and personal goals and future career, while also being the right team fit for my style of play and personality.
