Her presence inside was a key factor in Southwestern’s success throughout the season, and she was selected Third Team All-Region for her efforts.

McKaila is a super athletic southpaw who brings extreme versatility to the forward position. She plays primarily in the post for Southwestern but has the skill set to step out and operate on the perimeter as well. Southwestern is off to a strong 3–0 start, and they’ll face their toughest early-season test on Friday when they host South Laurel.

McKaila had a strong freshman season, averaging 8.6 points and leading Southwestern in rebounding with 6.4 boards per game. She’s a great rim runner, finishes well with either hand at the rim, controls the glass, and can block and alter shots on defense. McKaila is also a skilled passer for her position, making her a well-rounded frontcourt player. She’s primed for a breakout sophomore campaign.

The 5’11 forward is putting up 8.2 points a game and leads the Lady Warriors in rebounds with 7.2. McKaila scores effectively around the rim and runs the floor extremely well. Defensively, she holds down the paint in a major way by blocking shots and dominates the glass on both ends. She dropped 21 points and piled up 13 rebounds in week three, and made the all-tournament team at the Queen of the Commonwealth.

The former 2x Middle School State Champion, has terrific size, length, and a versatile skillset. She finishes well around the rim and is capable of knocking down perimeter jumpers.
