have put on a show. They ended their careers as State Champions and no one is going to ever be able to take that away from them. Murphy’s best ability is shooting the rock but I think that at the next level, she is going to adapt and grow into a bigger role. Sure she will always be able to let it fly and that will get her to see the floor but she is going to be able to stay on the floor because of her defense. As a prospect she has size, great coordination, and footwork. She understands her role within her team and she never seems to force unnecessary action on either side of the ball. She has demonstrated that she can recover if ever beaten off the dribble, while having some active hands. I’m excited to see what unfolds for her career these next few years. Just like everyone else in this article, if she is put in the situation to make a play and do her thing, she will be successful.

and her Elkhorn North High School team are coming off of a state title from last season and it’s looking like they are prepped for another one this season. Going into winter break, Elkhorn North is firing on cylinders at a high rate and they are currently undefeated because of it. As for Murphy, she is doing what she does. She is a nicely-sized shooting guard, that understands her skill-set and job on her team. Sometimes it can be tough to stand-out when you are playing in high school with a Top 50 player in the country but Murphy does a great job at having her own moments. She is a knock-down shooter on the catch, very skilled off of the dribble going either way, and she can distribute or rebound at a high rate as well. She has proven over the past 3.5 years that she is one of the best guards throughout the state and she is dedicated to finishing off her Senior season on that same note. She just needs to stay locked in and it will be another rememberable winter for everyone involved.

but over the past few years, her recruitment and game on the court has taken off to new heights. Murphy is a 5’11 SG, that is the definition of well-rounded. She can handle, facilitate, score it from all three levels, rebound over most others, defender multiple positions, and most importantly-she understands the strategic side of the game at a fast pace. When you combined all this stuff you get a MM-HM D1 player and that is what Murphy is. Whoever gets her is going to get a big-time playmaker, that is one hell of a teammate and just wants the best for the others around her, when she is out there competing.

is a top ranking player out of the 2024 class in Nebraska and this spring she has been showing us why. Murphy is a 5’11 combo guard who is a complete player. An individual who understands the game of basketball to a T while also being extreme gifted both physically and skill-wise. She is a three-level scoring threat with a great handle, vision and passing ability. She understands post play, mid-post play, and perimeter stuff at a high rate while always being a consistent contributor to whichever team she is on. As of most recent she has picked up an offer from D1 Evansville (Il), with plenty more to come in the future at this rate.

is one of the best overall players on this team. She can score from behind the three point line at a high rate, score from inside the lane at an even higher rate, and does everything else just as good, if not better, then the player lined up next to her. After coming off of a state title this past season at Elkhorn North High School, the motivation is high for Murphy as she really wants to put together a nice spring/summer AAU season to follow. Something that is more than possible when you look at this roster as a whole. All the players on this team bring energy, smarts, and a whole lot of talent, Murphy especially. They are going to hit the ground running and show that this whole roster might end up playing high level college basketball when it’s all said and done. I’m sure there will be recruiters lined up this spring/summer, watching this group compete.
