Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I’ve got a strong sense of the court and the game feels natural to me. I like attacking the rim, driving to the basket to draw fouls and hit free throws. I'm quick to grab rebounds, both defensively and offensively. I also stay calm under pressure. I’m a solid ball handler, am confident in setting up plays, finding open teammates, and making assists, but will take the three when open.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’m a hardworking, determined player who doesn’t let obstacles slow me down. I love to compete and push myself to improve daily. I’m coachable and embrace feedback. I strive to create a positive team environment. My faith shapes who I am, and I strive to use my talents to make an impact in basketball and life.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I’m a member of National Honor Society, Student Council, and serve as a class officer. I mentor younger students through Eagle Buddies and work with special needs teens in the Bacon Buddies program. I’m involved in 4-H, showing pigs at county and state fairs. I've earned varsity letters in Speech, both Large Group and Individual. I've also been Fair Queen runner-up.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’ve developed leadership, communication, and teamwork skills through basketball, mentoring, and community service. I lead by example, staying positive, working hard, and supporting others. My roles in Eagle Buddies and Bacon Buddies have helped me connect with others. Through 4-H, Summer Meals Program, and Meals on Wheels, I’ve learned the importance of service and giving back.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I haven’t faced major challenges, but balancing basketball, academics, and leadership roles has taught me the value of perseverance and time management. I’ve learned to stay focused, work hard, and rely on my faith to navigate busy or tough situations. Each experience has helped me grow stronger and more determined.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a Christian college with a strong basketball program, a supportive community and a safe, small-to-medium campus. Building strong connections is important to me. I want a top kinesiology program with great grad school placement, plus opportunities to study abroad and go on mission trips.
