She’ll crash the boards and push the pace in transition, looks comfortable shooting from everywhere on the floor, and plays downhill with aggression at the rim. On defense the athletic senior has a good nose for the ball and did a good job to double team unsuspecting ball-handlers on a few occasions. Hitting momentum-swinging threes, finishing tough buckets in the lane, drawing double teams to hit open players and more — Brown stepped up and had her fingerprints all over the rivalry game.

We have been talking about how Forest City is going to be a solid squad for years to come at all of their grade levels with the younger Classes they are bringing in. Brown is a natural as an offensive weapon and a hard worker. She knows how to attack from every offensive level in every given situation and that has helped her produce for years now. Like I said, this group brings in a special 2029 Class. If they can help Brown over the next twelve months, they are going to win a lot of games and all of their prospects will look great while doing so.

Brown comes into her Junior season as a 5’10 SG with a fundamental and efficient shot, she understands when she should shoot compared to making an extra pass, and she can score in other ways than just shooting – depending on the timing. Forest City isn’t the biggest school but they aren’t the smallest either. If they want to continue to win some more of their contests, they will have to look towards Brown in some important moments. The type of moments that I think she can handle and compete in. If they do that, they could make some waves before the Playoffs reach us in a few short months.
