O’neal’s name preceded her, yes she Shaq’s daughter, yet I missed her last season when I covered an after Thanksgiving event but I made a special trip to catch her at the Girl’s Texas TABC Showcase. Her versatility coupled with her size is an attraction for the next level because she understands how to create her shot on the outside while being defended and can actually drop it not only from midrange, but long-range as well. I also enjoyed seeing her handle the ball in the open court after rebounding and being able to go coast to coast to score, or assist, yes her court vision is nice, all spoke volumes. She has the college ready body, she finishes around the basket after contact and does a good job defensively

O’neal gave me a good first look at the Girls TABC Showcase and that look is why I added her to the Top 100 and she’s taking her variety of intangibles to Florida. She attacked the basket stronger and did a good job finishing after contact , she also played the passing lane and did a good job defensively both in and outside the paint
