Megan has great length at 6’1, towering over opponents allowing her to block shots and rebound at a high rate. She is great on both the offensive and defensive glass, using her size to her advantage. She knows how to read the offense and time her blocks correctly, making her a defensive nightmare for opponents averaging 3 blocks a game. She also has a nice shot with a quick release, making her a threat from anywhere on the court. She can knock down threes, and mid-range jumpers, and finish at the rim with ease. She is great on both the offensive and defensive glass, using her athleticism and positioning to grab rebounds.

Reed is a back to basket post player but can also pull her defenders out to short corner or high post for scoring opportunities. She showed her ability to establish position on the block and to rebound with the best of them. She is a walking double double and continues to flood the stat line. One of the best post passers I have seen in a while. Definitely one of the top post players in the state. Finished with 16 points and 10 plus rebounds.

Up from No. 65Reed is an intriguing post prospect that has drawn interest from D-III programs and high academic D-II schools. Megan is physical on the low block, utilizing quality footwork with her back to the basket. She embraces contact when she goes to score, but also has a finesse side of her game, able to routinely hit mid-range jumpers and even stretch the floor to the three-point line. Megan is a reliable rebounder and is a solid rim protector.

Her rugged play inside balanced with her finesse shooting touch makes her a tough cover. Reed tallied 13 points, 11 rebounds, 1 steal and 3 blocks in the action I saw against Walton.
