About Megan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a 5’10” forward who takes pride in playing both high and low, with the versatility to defend multiple positions. I embrace the physical and mental challenges of rebounding, and I’m constantly looking for ways to improve my game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My identity is rooted in my work ethic. I think that the real keys to success and progress are perseverance, hard work, and a positive outlook. I'm determined to invest the time and effort necessary to get better every day, not only for the team but also for myself. I take pride in overcoming obstacles, maintaining my discipline, and looking for methods to improve both on and off the court

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have been involved in Student council and Link Crew for 2 years and was part of the first year of the Burnsville Leadership.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

By being involved with these groups I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills. These experiences taught me how to communicate effectively, collaborate with others, and take initiative to create a positive and supportive school community.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a small/medium size college with a strong sense of community where I can build close relationships with my coaches, teammates, and professors. I haven’t reached my full potential yet, and I’m seeking a program and coaching staff that will challenge, motivate, and push me to grow—both as a player and as a person. I want to contribute in any role for the team.
