Standing at 5’6 with a relatively small frame, Krenn (pictured above) isn’t going to overwhelm anyone with her size, but don’t let that fool you. This kid is a sleeper! All throughout The Expo the Burnsville junior played like she had something to prove. Megan used her substantial quickness to her advantage on every play. She exploded to the rim, blowing past defenders along the way, cherry-picked passes on defense, and hustled at every opportunity. On top of that, she rebounded incredibly well for a guard, defended with energy and intensity, and displayed sound decision making when the ball was in her hands. After an eight-win season last winter, Burnsville isn’t likely to win any hardware this year, but rest assured, Krenn is going to be paramount for the Blaze.

Krenn averaged 8 points per game last winter to tie for the team lead on a two-win Burnsville squad, giving the Blaze everything she had every night. She stood out at the PGH Sophomore ID Camp, proving she can excel against bigger and stronger competition. Not big, but quick, crafty, and fiercely competitive, Megan creates steals, finishes in transition, and constantly impacts the game. Calm and composed under pressure, Krenn’s relentless energy, anticipation, and effort make her a true spark plug. She scored heavily in AAU this summer and continues to establish herself as a hard-nosed, high-motor playmaker.

Krenn may not be very big, but her quickness, anticipation, and craft make her incredibly effective. She constantly attacked and worked herself into steals, turning them into easy transition points. Calm and composed, she doesn’t get rattled, instead playing with cleverness and effort that lift her team. After a summer where she poured in points week after week, Krenn’s competitive fire and consistency stand out. Strong for her frame and relentless in spirit, she simply makes things happen every time she’s on the floor.
