Wolfe’s size and ball handling ability allow her to push the fast break, create transition opportunities, and finish at the rim effectively. She impacts the game in several ways, doing the little thins that lead to winning by rebounding, protecting the basket, and using active hands to generate defensive stops. Her vision and unselfishness also stood out, as she makes smart passes in transition and the half court to put her teammates in position to score.

Mia makes her presence felt on both ends of the floor. Defensively, she does a great job staying vertical to contest shots without fouling and has active hands that lead to steals and turnovers. Offensively, she has a soft touch around the rim, embraces contact to earn trips to the free throw line, and can step into the mid-range and confidently knock down jumpers.

Wolfe is an extremely active forward with great length and a high IQ. She makes timely cuts, moves the ball well in transition and the half court, and creates extra possessions by crashing the offensive glass, securing loose balls, and finishing second-chance opportunities. Defensively, she protects the rim, disrupts passing lanes, and blocks shots, making her a versatile presence around the basket.

A versatile forward that can play inside/out. She has swag to her game and can do a lot of positive things that impacts her team. She can get downhill and finish with contact or she can stop and pop the midrange jumper. She seems to be confident shooting beyond the arc and is a solid defender. Mia also can create her own shot and does a good job of finding opening teammates when her shot is taken away.

Wolfe impacts the game on both ends with her size, mobility, and aggressiveness. She thrives as a downhill attacker who can create her own shot, finish strong at the rim, and knock down perimeter shots as a reliable spot-up shooter. Defensively, she guards with purpose, creates turnovers, and pushes the ball in transition to generate offense.

Mia, a member of the 17U team, earned Second Team All-District honors this past high school season. She’s a reliable spot-up shooter from the wings and can also attack off the dribble to get to the rim and finish strong. Defensively, she creates turnovers with active hands and does a good job pushing the ball in transition to generate offense.

Good prospect heading into her sophomore season. A versatile player that has left VES and now will join George Wythe. Competition may not be the same so watch for her number to grow this season! At 6’0 she has the size to develop a good wing prospect.

Great size if she plays the wing position full time she Mia has great mobility for her position. Great length and athleticism, she is very tough to stop from the perimeter. Good IQ she can push and run the transition fast break. Versatile player on defense she unstands wow to read passing lanes for steals and can push the ball up the floor!

Mia Wolfe Mia Wolfe 6'0" | SF/SG George Wythe | 2028 State VA is one of the better players in the state for 2028, and she is playing a few years up on this VA Impact squad. Mia has nice size for a wing and can score from all over the court. She has a good handle at her size and can create her own offense. She is a terrific shooter and does a good job as a passer as well. 

A crafty wing who plays with good pace and poise on the court. A good ball handler is strong with the ball in her hands and operates well to get her team in an offensive set. She has a good first step towards the basket and can finish over defenders with her size. Can flat out shoot it from away where on the court, look for her to be a huge contributor for VES the season!
