Natalie is a versatile player who can impact the game both inside and out. She finishes strong around the rim and consistently knocks down threes, especially from the corners and wings. She battles hard on the offensive glass to create extra possessions and uses her strength effectively in the paint. Her shooting ability makes her especially dangerous against zone defenses.

It was a slow start for the entire Princeton squad, but Rose jumped out fast in the second half to score 5 quick points for the Lady Tigers. Natalie hit a beautiful corner shot and followed that with a nice long ball. Rose also finished with 4 rebounds against East. Remember, “you either win or you learn” and I have no doubt that this is a learning curve for Natalie and the young Princeton squad.

What more can we say about Rose? She finished in double figure scoring on opening night to help lead Princeton over Capital. The overall skill set and growth from this athlete is fun to watch! In my notes, it went like this: Natalie with the offensive rebound and put back to get the Tigers on the board to start the 2nd quarter; Rose with the strong take to draw the foul and go 2-2 at the line; Rose with a beautiful spin move underneath to score! Rose continues to impress on the court. She does a great job getting to the rim. She is excellent in the mid-range. She continues to be active on defense! She’s a savvy kid with a great understanding of the game. Natalie knows how to use her strength to her advantage. She’s a strong guard with a bag full of skills. Rose is a solid ball handler with good court vision! She sees the floor great and passes extremely well. She’s strong and utilizes her strength well on defense! She moves her feet great, keeps active hands and forces turnovers! Natalie has a great understanding of the game and she plays at her own pace. She can help control the tempo whether you want to play fast or slow. She can knock down the long ball, and she continues to be consistent in the mid-range. Rose is another athlete in this strong ’28 class to keep your eyes on!
