Mikah O’Neil isn’t a player that we have heard about too often up to this point but her performances as of late have been extremely important for her Sumner-Eddyville-Miller team. On Tuesday evening, O’Neil was a vital factor in her teams 20 point win scoring 14 points, grabbing 8 rebounds, dishing out 5 assists, causing 4 turnovers, and registering 2 monstrous blocks. With a roster that has more than a few players who can compete at a high level, O’Neil does a great job of letting her presence be known each game, even if she isn’t scoring the ball. Every team needs a player that is willing to keep everyone locked in and O’Neil does a great job of that. She always has a positive attitude with a never give effort. If she can keep this up while producing at a high rate around the rim to finish off this year, she is going to be happy with how things turn out in the end.
