It has been great to see Miley back in action over this last month or so, and while she is still getting back to 100%, she has shown more and more flashes of her outstanding play from last Summer. She is long, wiry-strong, smooth, fluid, and even somewhat bouncy. She has touch to the 3-point line, an improved handle, and she can use her size in the mid-post, defensively, and on the boards. Her recruitment could see a big bump this month.

Miley had a really nice Spring on the grassroots circuit, but it came to an unfortunate abrupt end over the Summer, as she injured her knee. She is an extremely long, wiry-strong, and versatile forward. She is a really nice athlete with some bounce, plus she gets up and down the floor with ease. She has touch outside, a solid handle, and the potential to be a true wing long-term. Defensively, she could stand to play a little lower, plus at 6-1, I could see some coaches using her inside quite a bit. She can be a perimeter mismatch, though.

Miley is a really nice prospect and still-developing talent. She even has a chance at drawing some Division-I attention over the next year, if some things start coming together for her. She is tall for a wing, extremely long, she has a wiry strength to her frame, and she’s a nice, fluid athlete. She has some skill at all three levels, and she works hard to be productive. But I would like to see her almost be a little more selfish with the ball and try to be a 15 to 17 point, 8 rebound per game player each time out.

Miley is a budding star for Columbus North, and she has started to play grassroots ball at a higher level this Spring. I have seen her at times, but I want to watch her in this environment. She has a great frame, length, and she is a nice run-and-jump athlete who can get out and go in transition. I really want to see what she does in the halfcourt with slower possessions, and if she is more comfortable as a wing or a mid-post forward.
