Harmon enters June as one of the more dangerous perimeter threats in this portion of the rankings. The Columbus North shooting guard has continued to develop her offensive game and possesses the ability to stretch defenses with her shooting range and confidence from beyond the arc.
What makes Harmon effective is her willingness to play within the flow of the offense while still remaining aggressive when opportunities arise. She moves well without the basketball, understands spacing, and can make defenses pay when left open. Her ability to score in bunches gives Columbus North an important offensive weapon heading into the summer.
As June competition begins, Harmon will be looking to showcase her complete offensive skill set while proving she can impact games on both ends of the floor. Continued growth as a defender and playmaker could make her one of the biggest risers in the coming months.
Watching film from the 3SSB circuit, Kaylie was a standout. Her game came across so smooth even when playing in competitive matchups. Harmon has a great feel for the game on both sides and she answered the call when challenged. Even from all the way in New England it was clear this is someone who’s going to get a lot of collegiate attention this spring/summer.
Kaylie can most easily be described by one word…ballplayer. She isn’t necessarily elite at any one thing, but she is very well-rounded, highly skilled, and she plays with a great basketball IQ. Throughout the 2025 grassroots season, she shot it extremely well and added some range to her shot. This season, she has made 38 3-pointers at a 42% clip, putting her among the state’s elite in both total makes and shooting percentage. What’s more impressive is, she’s probably as good or better handling the ball and finding teammates as a point guard. She is handing out a career-best 3.6 assists per game this Winter.
Kaylie is an extremely strong, powerful, physical perimeter player. She is really difficult to define by position, because she could honestly be labeled as a point guard, a shooter, or a wing, depending on how she is utilized. She has the handle of a point guard and can create space for herself or create for others off the bounce. She is also an accurate and quick-release shooter with some range or her perimeter stroke. Defensively, however, I feel like she’s probably best taking on bigger guards and wings, because she can match strength with them.
Kaylie is kind of “Miss Old School” in this class, because of her style of play in the backcourt. She is a strong and physical guard who likes to seek physicality. She can handle the ball, she has great vision and can find teammates through the smallest of windows, plus she is a talented perimeter shooter with range and a quick release. But it’s her ability to attack and absorb contact that stands out. She also plays with a nice poise and veteran’s savvy, as she leads Columbus North this year.
Kaylie is difficult to define by position, because she does so many things well skillfully. She is strong/powerful, physical as a perimeter player, and she can play a power PG role, a wing shooter role, or even battle bigger wings, get inside, and rebound as well. She has a nice handle, good vision, plus great touch outside. Being able to defend the smaller, water-bug type guards is the toughest challenge for her right now, but she is truly a “ballplayer” who does a lot of things very well offensively.
Kaylie is best described as “just a ballplayer”. She is a strong-for-her-age Freshman guard, but most of the things she does skillfully and cognitively are that of an upperclassman. She handles it, passes it, and has a nice general court awareness to her game. I don’t know that she will ever be a track star, but she is a solid on-the-floor athlete who uses her body well to protect the ball, she is learning how to take angles defensively, plus she’s willing to get inside and rebound, she’ll dive on the floor for loose balls, and she’ll do a lot of the things that help you win. She is highly productive for a 2027.
