In 5A Division 2 Greenville’s rout of 4A Seneca, a good bit of the Red Raiders’ offensive production occurred off the bench. Cheeks added backcourt scoring depth in the form of 10 points as part of her team’s offensive onslaught. Cheeks displays her confidence with her willingness to call for the ball when she believes she can make a play. She also displays superb ball-handling capabilities and understands when the scenarios are correct for attacking the rim and when it is time to distribute the rock. Cheeks also will display vocal leadership skills in addition to her leadership by example. She is the lone sophomore on this year’s Red Raiders assembling.
