I did not know much about Martin and had never seen her play until this year’s Class 5A State Tournament. I am super impressed that the Ottawa Braves have landed the Indians’ star. She will have the chance to make a run at a ton of school records at Ottawa depending on if she stays there for an entire four years. I think she will have an immediate impact on that roster. The NAIA programs in Kansas often get overlooked, but the KCAC is a talented conference, and I think this will be a good fit for Martin and Ottawa. I feel like she could play at the Division II level. Her career will be a fun one to track.

A combo guard that showcased her outside shooting Saturday by connecting on 4 from deep in the first half. Moved great without the ball relocating to the open spots for the kick. Quick handles on the fast break that is patient enough to wait until the seem opens then hits it hard for a layup. Great vision on the drive reading second level defense to find the open girl on the backside. The length she has allowed her to take contact on the drive then stretch out for the finish with a little baby hook off the glass.
On defense great hands and quickness when guarding on the ball. Understands defensive rotation and help. First time watching Molly play and she was impressive with her all around game.
