Montay is one of those players that, if you’re ever feeling down, or feeling like you are tired of basketball, or need a break or whatever, like it’s too much… just go watch Tulsa Central play. You’ll get that feeling back. Montay just plays basketball. She is naturally athletic. She goes out and just lets it all go. She can be a little flashy with it, but not to the point of being disrespectful. She might let the hand hang when she drains the three. She might exaggerate the head turn when she makes one of her rocket passes, almost like a no-look down into the post. It’s fine. It’s basketball. And it’s beautiful. And she needs to be doing it in college next year. You’re gonna want her on your team. Trust me.

Davis has been one of the most exciting players I’ve seen so far on the circuit this season and let me start with she’s “long and athletic” which I call the base. Her on the ball defense immediately grabbed my attention but I love excitement and when I heard “no Montay” when she shot a 25 footer fading away, that quickly changed to “yes Montay” as she banked it off the glass. She dropped the midrange, scored off the dribble and has good body control to finish strongly after contact yet she also sees the court and her behind the back pass for an assist after showing change of pace in transition dropped the MIC
