The most recently commitment out of the 2025 Class in Iowa comes from SG – Morgan Mann Morgan Mann 5'7" | SG Humboldt | 2025 State IA of Humboldt High School. Mann has been a hot commodity on the recruiting trail this offseason around the Midwest. Up until her commitment, she had a ton of offers and interest from the D3, D2, NAIA, and Juco levels but ultimately, she decided to go with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. This comes as somewhat a surprise as there are not many prospects that we have seen out of Iowa attend this University but there is a first for everything. I’m sure that Mann is going to end off her Senior season the right way and make a standing impression on that program before everything is said and done. She has always been a producer, no matter who she is lacing up against and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

Morgan Mann Morgan Mann 5'7" | SG Humboldt | 2025 State IA is coming off of an injury but she has still been racking up the collegiate offers for when she is ready to take her talent to that stage. Mann should be ready to come back this Winter for Humboldt High School and average some productive numbers just like last year when she had 20.2 PPG, 6.8 RPG, and 2.5 APG. Mann is a handful to deal with because of her ability to make a crafty move in a small amount of space. Over the past three seasons, Mann has put up big numbers and there is no reason to think that will be any different over these next six months.

Morgan Mann Morgan Mann 5'7" | SG Humboldt | 2025 State IA is another player that I would consider offensively gifted. She is a someone that can score from all three levels in a plethora of ways or she can create off of the dribble for her teammates. Defensively she is good with her on-ball defense, as well as being active on help side whenever the situations calls for it. Mann has been her team’s engine the past 2.5 seasons at the varsity level and that’s going to continue until she graduates. This is the type of team that everyone understands their roles to a T. Everyone works hard and understands that Mann’s skill-set is truly next level. As long as she is having a good game, this group has a chance to win. I’m unsure of where Mann is going to end up playing at but wherever it is, they are getting a baller, who can make a difference in more way than one.

Morgan Mann Morgan Mann 5'7" | SG Humboldt | 2025 State IA comes off as another player that has some versatility on the court. Mann has the choice right now to move between the 1 or the 2 spot, depending on what her team is asking of her. She has a solid handle when being pressured, while understanding her teams playbook and their sets. Defensively, she is an athlete with quick feet. She communicates well with the teammates around her and shows smarts each time she is out on the floor. Moving forward I’m looking for Mann to have another nice high school season this winter. If she keeps on working hard, it’s going to pay off in the end with a chance at college ball.

Morgan Mann Morgan Mann 5'7" | SG Humboldt | 2025 State IA has been nothing short of a star this year for Humboldt high school. Mann is currently averaging just over 19 PPG, 5.4 RPG, and 3.8 APG while leading her team to an overall 8-5 record. As of recent she has been dominate in every facet of the last few games that she has competed in, scoring over 30 PPG in her last two contests. She is a good sized guard with quick feet and a fundamental-type of game. She has a good act for the ball and shows it purely in her steals/assist numbers alone this season. Going forward throughout the rest of this winter and over the next two years I could see Mann putting up these sort of numbers consistently, which will have her moving up in her class rankings. Currently prior to this she wasn’t ranked in the 2025 class but that will be changing at the next update in March as she is clearly one of the best scorers and overall players in this class thus far throughout her high school career.

Morgan as a freshman dominated as a guard against her competition, averaging 16.1 PPG on 51.9% shooting, 5.5 RPG, and 1.3 APG for the Humboldt Wildcats. The Sophomore guard had a successful summer with a dominate Pure Prep AAU team out of Des Moines. The biggest thing that jumps out to myself about Mann is that she is extremely efficient and always makes the right play or extra pass. Though she maybe undersized for her position as a high D1 guard, there is a lot of interest here. It will tell a lot this upcoming season how Morgan leads this Wildcats team after losing 3 seniors from the previous season along with some bench experience. I’ll be interested to see where this team ends the regular season and where they are placed to start their playoff journey.
